drmk 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Andrew, I've mentioned this to you, but I would still like the option of choosing a theme color scheme of something other than blue or black for the WhiteHouse Pro theme.
Andrew 207 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Right, I've had a few suggestions about this. I don't think it would be a problem to do another one. What color(s) would you suggest.
drmk 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2009 Can't you just put in a hex code color picker, like you have for the other options, so that folks can choose their own color?
Andrew 207 Report post Posted October 11, 2009 We can, and we are working on options for the coming releases of the themes... It is a lot of work to get things working correctly and bug free however
robbin_g 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2009 Hello! If the hex picker will take awhile, might I make an enthusiastic request for some earth tone colors? Also a light gray/silver? My personal priority is a burgundy colored theme to go with my wine related content. If it's possible to get that for an extra fee, do let me know. Thanks! I'm off to go push more buttons in the admin panel!
robbin_g 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2009 Also, the "by line" in the blue theme is also DARK blue instead of gray like in all the other color choices. I don't know if that is intentional, but I think its distracting and would like to change it as I will be using blue until other color options become available. Please point me in the proper direction in the code. Thanks again!
Andrew 207 Report post Posted December 9, 2009 Hi Robbin, There's an option for this. Look for 'meta bar' in the 'page and post' option panel. Ap
robbin_g 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2009 Thanks AP, Nothing called meta bar on "pages and posts" but I found "Post Meta Bar Background Color" on display options. What is the hex # for the gray in the other themes?
Andrew 207 Report post Posted December 10, 2009 I think its #eee
robbin_g 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2009 Indeed it is! Thanks! Do contact me by email if I can purchase a custom color.
drmk 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2009 This is still the primary thing preventing me from actually adopting the theme, Andrew. Any update on when this will be implemented?
Andrew 207 Report post Posted December 14, 2009 Has been we're on WHP2 now with tons more options/etc.. I've been waiting to hear from you before I got you the update; as last time it didn't work out, as you know. I understand, so no worries either way. Anyway the demo shows the new color schemes and you can log into the new options backend if you'd like to look around... just go to: http://www.pagelines.com/demos/whitehousepro/wp-admin and login with user: demo, pass:demo
robbin_g 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2009 Maybe make the PSD available for purchase as well?
Andrew 207 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 Great idea Robbin! For now, we can get you some illustrator files if you need them.
wells 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2010 Rather than start a new thread, I'll just bump this one. AR, has a .psd or .ai file become available for purchase? Or is it possible to have them emailed to me (I just purchased the WHP theme and want to do some customizing). Thanks!
jnoh 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2010 Hey Wells, Shoot me an email at [email protected] about this.
womencan 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2010 I concur with Robbin G...all the colours are very bold, which makes the whole featured page look very top heavy. Might I reinforce the suggestion of a white/grey toning and also some earth or pastel tones. Either that or lighten up the fill in the featured box - make it same tone but quite a few shades lighter. Just some suggestions.
ranchnet 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2010 Is it possible to get the photoshop or illustrator files? I'd like to change the colors on a few of the icons and backgrounds, too. Thanks for the help!

smackdabstudios 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2010 So what is the outcome regarding the ability to obtain the .psd file? I purchased this theme just over a year ago and it came with the .psd - and I've just purchased it again for a different client but I need the .psd to alter the design. How can I get it? bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted September 15, 2010 In the meantime I've created colored icons for anyone to use: Thanks, Bryan
