Home Page URL mysteriously redirects to post - Home Page Missing!

Help! I modifided my home page last night (worked fine) and then added a post to a new category (worked fine). Today, if you attempt to go to the home page, you always end up on the post that I added last night. I have redirect plugin, but it is not activated, so it is not that. Anybody? Do you have the SETTINGS > READING options set up to show a static home page? If yes, then the redirect plug-in may still be messing with .htaccess and redirects...try deleting it completely.

Adam, Thanks for the speedy response. The answer to your question is "yes," so I deleted the Redirect Plugin, even though it was not activated. This has not resolved the problem. Any other thoughts? Best regards, Richard site: internetlegaladvisor.com

I think I am just going to have to reinstall the whole site. I am not happy right now.
