Display category description on category page - Framework 2.1.1

Hi,

I would like for my category descriptions to show on my category pages. I have seen this post:

I have no directory called platformpro

My theme directory is called pagelines-template-theme

I have Framework 2.1.1. What should I do to display the category description on my category pages?

The post you're citing is 2 years old and deals with a totally different product.

First, you should upgrade your version. We're about to release 2.3 soon, so your version is behind the times.

We are not hiding a category description, but WP doesn't really accommodate displaying it. A hook is needed or a modification of the appropriate section. Either is a customization that requires a professional developer. I'd suggest asking for a quote from one of ours at http://www.pagelines.com/pros

Do you have Pagelines Framework or Platform Pro installed? If you have Pagelines Framework installed then you would just need to update to the latest version 2.3 through your WordPress admin dashboard. Simply click on the update box at the top of the screen (see http://screencast.com/t/SUt1hxB0Cko for an example).
