linkfr 2 Report post Posted September 17, 2012 Hi people! After creating many posts, i created 2 sorts of boxes: home-boxes and default-boxes. The problem is both box sets are showing on every post. Is there a way i can make appear only default-boxes on posts (other than setting this post by post in the Post's PageLines Media Settings box)? I wouldnt like to set this more than a hundred times (several sites), thanks 4 your help!
James B 436 Report post Posted September 18, 2012 (After writing this post I've noticed you're on Pagelines lit edition, not sure if you'll have access to all the settings described below. If you don't, then you might want to consider upgrading to the pro edition. ) Hi there, Unfortunately thre are no settings for single post pages, this is due to the way wordpress works. I have thought about this and think the following could work for you. So the only thing to do is to go into Pagelines>Drag and drop and find the template you've set up for the boxes. Hide the boxes you want to display on the home page by clicking the options tab next to that set of boxes, and checking the 'hide by default' checkbox. Leave the cloned set of boxes that you want to display on the posts visable. Then go to the WP Dashboard>Pages. Go into edit your homepage. Scroll down to the meta settings and click on page setup. Click the 'hide' checkbox for the second set of boxes you want to display only on the posts page. They've now been hidden on the homepage. Then look for the first set of boxes which should have a check box next to them saying 'show', check the box and save your meta settings. Now your homepage should show one set of boxes, and your posts page the other. Let me know if this works Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues. For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting. linkfr 2 Report post Posted September 18, 2012 Hi James, thanks for your answer. Indeed i'm using Platform theme - i should have precised this, i think i'm the only one to use it. So i have no possibility to set different templates for boxes.
