IBlogPro 3 Installation Issue

Recommended Posts

davidinspiredbypoppycom

Hi I have just transfered my hosting from GoDaddy to Hostgator. Everything seemed to go OK with that. Then I wanted to update the theme to iBlogPRO 3 (which I purchased some time ago) from iBlogPRO 2. I have this theme working on another site with no problems (http://leanbodyignition.com). But on the site I just installed it on, it looks completely screwed - check it out here at http://spokenenglishonline.com. I wasn't expecting this at all - I can revert back to Pro2 no problem but am wondering why Pro3 is not working properly. If you look at the site version '3' is currently activated for your review Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Thanks David

Took a look and it looks great. Did you get it worked out? Maybe you were seeing something in another browser?

It looks like an incomplete install, or at least the paths are messed up somewhere and that is why you have many missing images. Did you try a fresh install as if it's a new theme e.g. don't just overwrite the old one

Hi there Issue appears to be fixed. Instead of FTP-ing the file across, I extracted from within my Hostgator account. Clearly when extracting the files locally on my computer resulted in loss of some of the files. I have observed this before...you should see an improvement in the layout (although I have not started playing with it yet) of http://spokenenglishonline.com. thanks for your help David
