Hi there, is it possible to show a category and its post on a page ? I need all the attributes ( header and stuff ) from the normal page and then it should show all posts related to the category. Is this possible with Platform Pro ? If yes how ? Thx

Hi there, Have you tried setting up a custom menu in the wordpress dashboard? Go to appearance>menu's and you'll see a new screen allowing you to create your own menus. You can add category pages into the menu by selecting the relevant ones in the bottom left hand corner. Go up to the top left hand corner to make sure the correct menus are assigned to the relevant navigation bar. Failing that, you can always install a third party plugin which can execute php within a page. The results might not be the same as the custom wordpress menu though. Take a look at this one http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exec-php/ Hope this helps

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

hmm yeah i already did that, but this just allows me to view the categories posts then, but what i want is a page where i can define some stuff before , and then it shows the categories post after that , because in categories there are not many options to define something like header picture... ( or other stuff i have on a "page" ) u no what i mean ?

Nadine, Create a static page with your heading as you want it styled. Download and install a plugin called Special Recent Posts. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/special-recent-posts/ Using the shortcodes you can create from the Installation instructions on that link, you can select the posts from that category. Choose to display 10 or so... then at the bottom of the page, include a link to the actual category page, so they'll see the normal posts in the category. If that doesn't work for you, you can create more static pages, using the offset function in the shortcode, offsetting page 2 by 10, page 3 by 20, page 4 by 30, etc.
