how to show post thumbnails and adjust blog-topic pages

hi two questions: 1- How do i get my blog post thumbs to appear on the blog summary and blog post pages below? http://www.energyindependencegroup.com/ http://www.energyindependencegroup.com/topic/solar-cooking/ 2- How do i remove the right side bar for blog topic pages, such as this one? http://www.energyindependencegroup.com/topic/off-the-grid-living/ thank you vic

Hi Vic, 1) I'd advise you to check you have the 'featured image' set for each post. If you go to your wordpress dashboard>Posts, you'll see a list of all your posts, in the far right hand column you'll see if the post has a featured image attached. If you do have featured images attached to all posts, then check if they are set up to be displayed on the blog page by going to Pagelines>Site Options> Blogs and Posts. Scroll down to 'post thumbnail placement' and check the correct options are ticked to display on the page. (Post clips, Post archive, Posts blog/page) 2) If you go to the dashboard Pagelines>Page Options> Blog page. You can change the layout to full width using the layout diagram which will remove the sidebar :)


Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

hi jamies thx for suggestion .. that adds it to blog post thumbs, but now there's 2 pics of same image on the full post page. how do i eliminate the double pic?

I'm not seeing a double image, however, I'm also noticing some difficulty clicking links from the topic page.
