Change Font and Field Color in Contact Form 7

Recommended Posts

rpacker

I just installed Contact Form 7 and both the field color and text color are black, so it is unreadable. I'm sure there is an easy fix, any suggestions? Thx.

Hi You can add in CSS rules to change the background

textarea, input {background-color: rgb(100, 100, 100);}
to change color text (this I??m not sure)
input[type="text"], input[type="password"], textarea, #dsq-content textarea {color: rgb(100,100,100) !important;}

Excellent, you nailed it with the background color, that's all I needed. Thanks!

I just realized there are still two problems with the type color and field color with Contact Form 7: (1) the text is white rather than black in the bottom, large field. (2) the text is white on a greenish/white background in the confirmation field after you click send, making it difficult to read. Here is the URL. You have to send me a test message to see the second problem. http://www.randallpacker.com/?page_id=2637 Thanks.

Hi You can try for (1)

input[type="text"], input[type="password"], textarea, #dsq-content textarea {color: black !important;}

You can try for (2)

#page div.wpcf7-mail-sent-ok, #page span.wpcf7-not-valid-tip, #page div.wpcf7-validation-errors {color: green }

Sorry for email I made to prove it. :)

Brilliant, you solved it again, thanks so much and no need to apologize for the emails. Randall
