Vanilla integration causes double header

Recommended Posts

Can someone help me integrate Vanilla correctly. The forum is nicely embedded now and seems to be working, but I'm now stuck with two headers, one above the other. Thanks!

Ok, I figured it out, customizing the Vanilla special page in the Pagelines Site Options' panel. But still, even when hiding Simple Nav in the Footer, the Watermark remains... Any idea how to remove the Watermark in the footer of the Vanilla Template?

Did you go to Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Website Setup under "Website Watermark" and check the box labelled "Hide Watermark"?

Hi You can try add in PageLines > Site Options > Custom Code > CSS Rules

#cred {  display: none !important; }

First you can go Pagelines > Site Options > Website Watermark and "Hide Watermark"

Thanks batman, I just want to specify that the watermark appears twice and that I just want to remove one and keep the other...

Hi there, There's an iframe basically inserting a whole new page inside a page, that's why you've ended up with two footers and two creds. I can only go on the CSS on your site as I don't have Vanilla myself, however the code below has removed the first cred in firebug. Give it a go, let me know if it works. :)

body#vanilla_categories_discussions.Vanilla #cred { display: none !important; }

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

I still couldn't find how to remove the double header and footer appearing only on the vanilla forum page. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank!

Would need a link to your vanilla page to help.
