How to write an overlay text that stays fixed on the top of a slideshow

Recommended Posts

Hi, I just got the Framework 2 and I was trying to replicate something like this http://www.marotticampi.it/marotti/terra.php with a slide show and a text which is a fixed on and not a caption text that changes with every image. Could you point me to the best solution or plug in if needed? I tried with features in copying the same text in all the images of the slide show but maybe there is a more correct way to do it. Also in features I can't get the overlay text to stretch from left to right on the bottom for all the image lengt. If i set it to bottom it starts in the middle of the image and leaves an empty space in the left side.

Hi lomarot, this web is not a WP and PL You can replicate this using features and add Custom Code. I believe you can copy the same text, it is a simple and secure way. It is advisable to learn how to do this on your own too. Check out http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS'>http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS If you need more CSS help, make sure you've downloaded Firebug for Firefox and check out W3 Schools for more info. http://www.w3schools.com/ Also please be sure to watch our Firebug video tutorial here. http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS'>http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS ;)
