When publishing a draft, template resorts to Default

Recommended Posts

I've created drafts of all my pages, but when I go to publish them, they resort to Default Template even though I've assigned them to different templates. Am I missing something in the publishing process?

What templates did you assign them to? Template 1? Template 2? Also, did you already activate sections in those templates?

Yes, I've assigned them to templates 1-4. The sections were all active. I think I found out a band-aid to the issue, though. I noticed the issue occurred on pages who's permalink was two words, resulting in a http://yoursite.com/more-info. When I removed the hyphen from the permalink, the published page corresponded to the correct template. So, in this example I made the permalink http://yoursite.com/moreinfo. I'm not sure this works as a permanent fix, but seems to be doing just fine now.

Hi, I have just tested this and I have no such error. http://screencast.com/t/LfX5eiJa9DI Would it be possible for you to disable all active plugins and see if this resolves your issue.
