You can try add in PageLines > Site Options > Custom Code > CSS Rules For example:

.grid-element, .media_overview { border: 1px solid;}
and
.pp3 {width: 30%;}

It is advisable to learn how to do this on your own too. Check out http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS If you need more CSS help, make sure you've downloaded Firebug for Firefox and check out W3 Schools for more info. http://www.w3schools.com/

Hi catalinaines Try this

.fbox {border: 1px solid black; }

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

Hi, Whenever, anyone provides you with custom CSS. You add this code to: Wordpress Admin Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Custom Code > CSS Rules. You can also add your custom CSS to the PageLines Customisation Plugin or a Child theme. I have provided you with a link to our documentation regarding the above. http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/How_to_Use_the_PageLines_Customize_Plugin The Boxes class filed, is so that you can add a custom class to your box and apply styling to that box or boxes.

Thank you all for your kind and fast support, very valuable comments. This has been very challenging for me. What I originally wanted was a box with a shadow, i tried combing all your codes with the codes provided in http://demo.pagelines.com/framework/cheat-sheet/ This code... .box-shadow() Add a drop shadow to an element I am so confused! I visited all your sites but I still can{t do this simple thing. I think pagelines might be too advanced for me.

That code for box shadow is applied using Bootstrap. Please see this link for further insight on how to apply that box shadow code: http://demo.pagelines.com/framework/tools/ (look at the section called "Mixins")

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.
