Assigning facebook like and share buttons to individual images on a page?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I thought of a way easier way to do social voting on my site. I'd like to post images on a page and attach Facebook Like and Share buttons to them. What is the easiest way to do this in Pagelines? My images are wide and short so I'm not sure that boxes would work for me. Would love to hear some input. Thanks! Jason

Hi You can try with this plugin: http://www.pagelines.com/store/plugins/social-excerpts/ There are many plugins out there that can accomplish this. Also You can add an action for add meta setting below your page You can find at http://api.pagelines.com/hooks You can see this links to begin: http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/How_to_Use_the_PageLines_Customize_Plugin http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API

I can't think of any other way to assign Like or Share buttons to individual pages unless each image had its own post (which, in turn, can be Liked or Shared), but you can try batman's solution above and let us know how that works out for you.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.
