Background image

I have set set a background image - but how can I get to not show in the content area and only on the sides of the page? On an old pagelines website I made this happen - but now I have tried a lot of combination. I have set it to tile unchecked the supercize option and fixed width mode What can I do? And if I just want the backround image to show beneath my menu troughout the page and only on one page?

To clarify, you would like the page canvas area at the top and bottom to be white (so that the background image you see above and below is covered)?

Yes - and the background image to be shown in the content area. Ok...maybe this is to much customization and is something I should hire a developer to solve for me.

Are you familiar with CSS? If so, you may be able to get the background image to show in the content area (the effect may not be seamless, however).
