How to edit CSS for BBPress 2.1.2

Recommended Posts

justinroffmarsh

After upgrading to BBPress 2.1, my forum -- particularly the topics page (see supplied link) -- has been a mess. Problem is, CSS snippets posted to the Custom Code area of Pagelines no longer seem to take priority over the BBPress CSS. Please advise what I'm doing wrong? Justin

Which theme do you have activated? Check at Dashboard > Appearance > Themes. Also, Did you check the settings at Dashboard > Settings > Forums and see if they've changed. You might need to re-save them.

My theme is Pagelines Framework 2.2.5. The settings look fine. There's a Theme Packages / content display picklist. The two options are bbPress Default and TwentyTen. bbPress Default is selected. Here's the topics page: http://www.salesprocessengineering.net/community/forum/general/ It's a mess now (I note that your bbPress demo is also suffering from similar formatting!) Any more ideas? Justin

This may well be a bug, especially as it is happening on our demo page to. I have reported this on our tracker. In the mean time add this CSS and hopefully it should resolve some of your issues.

a.bbp-topic-permalink, a.bbp-reply-permalink { float: left; margin-left: 0px; }
	.hentry .bbp-forums .bbp-forum-info, .bbp-topics .bbp-topic-title, .bbp-topic-title { padding: 6px  10px; }
	li.bbp-forum-freshness, li.bbp-topic-freshness { width: 20%; padding: 6px 0; }
