noomaking 5 Report post Posted August 4, 2012 Downloaded the new section. Tested with a YouTube Video. Nice job. One thought. Is there a way to turn off the related videos on YouTube embeds? rel=0. It would be nice to control the video player for presentation with a few of the control parameters such as. rel=0&fs=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=0 Related videos can have the effect of pulling your web visitor away from your site and into spontaneous self entertainment. Dag. Lost them.
Rob 547 Report post Posted August 4, 2012 I believe you refer to the recommendations YouTube offers at the end of the video. Am I correct? Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
noomaking 5 Report post Posted August 6, 2012 Yes. I tried to pass them along in the URL, but on load I just received the spinning wheel. On an iframe embed, you can control the player via options appended to the primary URL. When I inspect the element, it seems to be placing an iframe as the means to embed the movie. It would be nice to have control of the parameters. Turning off related videos would be priority one. But if you have control of one feature, why not all. I could use this in an upcoming series of videos, but I need to suppress related videos.
Danny+ 1,327 Report post Posted August 6, 2012 Hi, I do believe that this has already been requested in the TwinShot store page via comments and I think the developers are already looking into this. However, I have bookmarked your post and will bring this to their attention again. Please search our forums, before posting!
noomaking 5 Report post Posted August 7, 2012 Thank you. I did post on the twinshot page, but was not sure how that discussion was developing. Though I do receive posts via livefyre now.
catrina 103 Report post Posted August 7, 2012 Okay, great. Is it alright if I close this topic (for moderation purposes)? I'm not sure what other communications will take place here (they'll probably take place on Livefyre). Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.
