Adding Company Logo to Header

Recommended Posts

hireconrad

Hi, i need to include a company logo and have it clickable to another website in the upper right hand corner of my website. I want to keep "HireConrad.com" where it is, or perhaps in the future add a custom header image using the pagelines custom header logo image setting, but i need to include my company logo on the other side.

HI hireconrad, I suppose ..... You can use an action for add logo. You can find at http://api.pagelines.com/hooks You can see this links to begin: http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/How_to_Use_the_PageLines_Customize_Plugin http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API Finally you add CCS rules to put logo position as you like.

To add to batman's reply above, the CSS rules can be added to Custom Code > Custom CSS in the Site Options. For further documentation on CSS, please see here: http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

hi batman, thanks for the reply. Which action out of that long list would i use for my purposes? Is there a site were i can learn more about how to use and implement hooks and actions? I am already using Pagelines Customize Plugin for css changes, so i dont need further explanation on the CSS side, but i am totally new to .php and hooks and actions.

Hi I find another simple way, you try 1. Login to your Wordpress Admin Dashboard > PageLines > Drag & Drop 2. Select the "Header Template", then drag and drop the "Universal Sidebar" in to the header and position it above every other section you have in the template. 3. Now navigate to Appearances > Widgets, then add a "Text Widget" to the "Universal Sidebar". 4. Add your HTML code for the image and link into the "Text Widget". Once you have completed these steps, you can change position it with CSS.

that is exactly how i did it. i used the grid layout (bootstrap) to write the html. My issue was that I wanted the logo and logins on the same line/row. www.discoveryoutsourcing.com/Test
