Favicon changes to leaf in vanilla?

Recommended Posts

Hm, great leaf you have guys. But I rather it was my own favicon even when I am using vanilla in my site. However that is not the case. The leaf is there and I don't know how to get it removed since it is my domain.

First, remember that Vanilla itself is a stand alone program you're integrating. It is not a plugin. So, the integration is pulling our favicon by default. To ensure your own is used, simply upload the .ico file up to the root of your site's public HTML or htdocs folder.

Yes @rangelone but it is not that obvious that vanilla should pull your favicon since I have changed that to be mine on Pageline Framework ;-)

Hm, i have uploaded the favicon to my sites public html. Still leaf in the browser window. And as for the htdocs folder it doesn't exist. Is this really a Vanilla issue?

If anyone stumple in here. Here is the answer. The blue pageLine favicon.png is located here in the vanilla integration folder. vanilla/themes/Pageline-intergration-vanilla/design/favicon.png Change that to your own and you are good to go!
