Fixing Menus in recent update

I want to have my menus like the ones on this website which I found in the 'battlegrounds' section: http://harbourtownlighthouse.com/ The black sticky one and the grey. Any idea on how I get this all sorted out? Best, -Pete

I fixed it somehow, just trying to get the drop-down portion of it working now. When I click the arrow, nothing happens, the url link in my browser's search bar changes, but nothing else.

Hi Pete, I have visited your website and your navigation menu doesn't appear to have any sub menus. Therefore, you may have not added any to your custom Menu. I have provided you with a link to the Wordpress Codex, which has information on how to create your custom menu with sub menu items. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

I've added them but removed them for the time being because nothing happens when clicking the dropdown arrow. Best, _pete

Did you double check to make sure the subpages you set up in the custom menu were properly set up as secondary/child pages?
