ok where do i do that? platformbase or platformpro? whats the name of the file? i have activated platformbase 1.4.1

You'll need to do this customization in PlatformBase (like all other customizations).

You can't mix css with html and shortcodes like that; it won't work. What you may want to do is add a sidebar (like universal, content, full width, etc) to your front page in the template setup. Then edit the contents of the applicable sidebar and include just the slider shortcode.

How is the slider implemented? Does CU3ER provide a shortcode that you implement in any files?

Okay, it provides a shortcode that can be inserted inside a post or page. If you want to add it the front page of your site, you can install ContentBox (from the PageLines Store) on your install of Framework and add the Cu3er shortcode to ContentBox.

Ah, sorry. You can add the shortcode to a regular page (in the page editor).
