Why is setting up a Blog so HARD!!!

Hi - Trying to figure out how to connect my new Post to my Blog page. I've read the PL Doc 3-4 times and read 5-6 user posts on this but there's no basic explanation in how to do this. Why don't Blog/Posts just work like another template? Like just about everything else on PL! Would've saved me 1-2 hours sifting through info on here. What a nightmare. Nothing worse than not being able to find a solution to the most basic of expected features.

Hello, make sure you have told Wordpress on which page you would like to display your posts. Dashboard>Settings>Reading

Hi, Like any other theme, you need to create a page called whatever you like the norm is usually Blog. Once you have created this page, go to your Wordpress admin dashboard > Settings > Reading > Front page displays > A static page (select below) > Post Page, in the drop down menu, select your Blog Page you have just created and click Save. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
