Add blogroll to static front page

Recommended Posts

adriennesuarez

Hello! I'm trying to add a blogroll to my static front page. I want the blogroll to show excerpts from my four or five most recent posts. The site I'm developing is http://www.hope4washington.com. I want to blogroll to go in the empty section in the bottom of the front page. What's the best way to do this? Thanks so much! Adrienne

Adrienne, I use a plugin called TPG GET POST. It uses short codes to control categories of posts to display, length of excerpts, number of posts. It's pretty flexible.

Adrienne, you may also wish to try Special Recent Posts, which has both a free or premium version. I use that and it works very well.

Rangelone, do you have a link to that plugin? I went to the plugin store and can't find a way to search all the plugins and didn't see it in the most recent section. Thanks! Adrienne
