translation of some few phrases - mission impossible?

I still can't translate some phrases like "Search results for" or the link "edit" to edit the page. The translations with mo and po files from http://pagelines.com/translate/projects/pagelines-framework are in the pagelines language folder - and it works - i can see the changes of most phrases, but some are still in english. How is that possible? Can't give u a link - its under construction.

Well the translation you are downloading, is it 100% complete?

No - its not - 50%. But the thing is i can see the translated phrases in poedit, but after uploading there seems to be a problem with handling the mo and po files!

i have a child base theme but there also is a language folder in the pagelines framework folder. dropping the mo and po files in the base language folder changes nothing - but it should - don't you think so too? Just made a new download from the 72% translated PL language files. i can see "Edit" link is translated to "Bearbeiten" in poedit. but in my child (base) theme i see the english version "edit" (no capital letters)

OK, the (edit) link was not translatable, I have made the change so the next release will have that new string. Make sure the mo file is in pagelines-customize/language/ folder and named de_DE.mo The 'Search results for' string so far is not translated. http://screencast.com/t/89kTqgMqom

I'm not there is any specific PHP file for that Edit link. Where ever a post or page is, the Edit link will be there so you'll need to look into a post template or page template.
