Creating a custom box section

Hello I am trying to create a custom box section in order to achieve this with boxes http://screencast.com/t/FMxqBC6RmU i have all the custom PHP / CSS and jQuery what i need to do is create a new section (based on boxes). i have got so far and been able to add a new section - however - i must have got something wrong as in my new section i am not able to add category to the custom posts and i am not able to use pagelines meta settings on the page editor. here is the PHP i have tried http://paste.pagelines.com/7ir can anyone help me spot what it is i have done wrong? thanks for your help in advance

Hi Danny that's fair enough - however - it would be great if there were more guides with more details - especially the ones that say coming soon.
