Feature Slider Problem: Black bars appear on sides of images

Recommended Posts

I have a feature slider on my homepage and I wanted to hide the nav bar on bottom using CSS. I was using Firefox's Web Dev tool to preview the effects of my CSS. I don't remember exactly, but I think I added the code (or something similar): #feature-frame { display: none; } This caused the black bars to appear, but when I removed the CSS code the black bars still remain. I'm a novice with Wordpress and CSS and I think I got in a little over my head, now my slider is broken.

The reason for wanting to hide the nav bar for the slider was because it seemed to be too tall and I wanted to decrease the spacing between the slider and the text below it.

Please use the following CSS to hide the bottom navigation:
div#nav_menu-4 div.widget_nav_menu.dcol_5 dcol {display: none;}
Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.
