What happens if I install Page Lines into current working installation using Genesis now?

No idea where to post this or where to get help. Purchased page lines plus today and cannot log into chat to ask anything. Does anyone know what would happen if I (after backing up) installed page lines into the current working installation of wordpress now using Genesis?

I am sorry if I have not looked well enough for some video or instruction or post on this type of thing already. I am pretty new at the entire wordpress thing to begin with but heard wonderful things about PageLines and went ahead and bit the bullet and got the developer full blown version today. Due to an abundance of caution.... What I have done is purchased a separate iPage.com hosting account and planned to download our current entire site and then re-FTP the whole thing back up to the new account with iPages. (not sure how bad this may screw up the directory but seem to have found instructions for correcting the directory issue) Then give the conversion to the new platform a month to settle in and get straightened out and made into what we want it to be and then when it is just right... redirect the URL to the new site or copy it over or whatever... (you I am sure can tell that we are certainly not experts.) We considered doing this within a local folder but just want it to work in the real world setting... Anyhow, our current site is done in Genesis with Blissful Child as the child theme... I have listened to the tutorials and am certain I could just do a clean install of wordpress and then Pagelines. However my wife has more than 280 separate posts already done that we want in the new site or converted. Is this as simple as just choosing Pagelines as the theme within the wordpress install and then going back and figuring out what plugins do not work any longer? Is there a converting from an existing install with Genesis video somewhere I should be looking at? What problems am I going to be dealing with after I do this? Is it just easier to one at a time cut and paste the HTML for each of the 280 posts out of the current site into the new one? Thanks in advance for pointing us the right direction. We purchased Plus so we could have the live chat support to help with these questions but it does not seem to be working for us today.

I answered this topic in your other forum post. Top right corner of Live Chat says it's available only on Monday to Friday, from 6AM to 3PM Pacific time. Forum support is available on the weekends and evenings, as well as days, 7 days a week, including most holidays.

If you add PageLines to your previous site without removing Genesis, all you need to do is go to Appearance > Themes > and select PageLines as your active theme, then begin working on the formatting and styling of PageLines. It does not automatically pick up any styling you created previously. No theme or framework does that.

Thank YOU for your response... I have read so much trying to make this work well that I must have missed the hours thing. I appreciate your help. I know exactly what I look like as a newly on the forum as I have seen it a million times. Give me a couple of weeks and I will be an asset... Feel dumb now though.

I think my beginnings were even more embarrassing. We're all born naked though..
