vittomandu 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2012 Hi, I need to create an archive page with the title and the excerpt of all the posts. I'm using Pagelines Framework with the Base theme. I've searched the forum but I haven't found the right way (or perhaps I didn't understand the answers, I'm a newbie on Wordpress and PageLine). Thanks Vittorio
batman 389 Report post Posted July 21, 2012 Hi Vittorio, I??m a newbie too... If I understand you want some like this http://www.pagelines.com/blog/ You only create an empty page and put a name like "blog" or something you like and them go to Dashboard > Setings > Reading and select at Front page displays > A static page (select below) > Posts page: "blog" The go to Pagelines > Site Options > Blog And Posts and select the difference options as you like Life is too short to remove USB safely ... vittomandu 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2012 Thank you for the answer, Batman. Your solution is good for the web site home page. My home page is a static page that contains some text; the archive page should be a single page that you can reach from the home page. In a "normal" WP theme you can choose Archive in the page template menu, but in PageLines there's nothing like that.
