Missing menu - Dashboard / Removal of footer logo

Recommended Posts

For some reason my "templates" menu under the PageLines menu in the dashboard has dissappeared and I can no longer access the "template setup" menu. I also purchased the professional edition which has "No credit link" listed as one of the features but I cannot remove the leaf logo below the footer??

Hi, 1. Can you post a screenshot of this issue with the Dashboard please. Also, try disabling all active plugins and see if that resolves the issue. 2. Our recent update for 2.1.4 added a new feature called WaterMark. The new WaterMark feature allows you to disable the Leaf Logo in your footer with a tick of a box or you can even upload your own logo and custom URL. This new option can be found in Wordpress Admin Dashboard > PageLines > Settings > Website Setup, scroll down to WaterMark. Video tutorial available at: http://screencast.com/t/AKK0tJVkRjZX

Please search our forums, before posting!

The watermark option did the trick thanks and I found the templates under Drag and Drop now. Seems my menus for some reason are a lot different than yours?? I'm running version 2.2.4 error.png

The video Danny referenced was from an earlier version of Framework. Templates became Drag & Drop. The PageLines dashboard menu you're seeing is correct in the current versions. The best way to find things is to browse around and learn what's there, in addition to referencing http://www.pagelines.com/wiki

I am trying to remove the footer default Logo which seems to appear. If I remove the footer logo, it inserts the name of my blog. This is above the watermark logo, so isnt related to that. I have a 5 column footer section, and it is adding a Logo column. Want to remove that.

Okay, this one's easy, though commonly people don't know about resolving it.

In the 5 column footer widget, there are 'default' contents that don't show up necessarily in the columns in edit mode (Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Footer).

If you add any other widget to the left-most (top) of the 5 columns, whatever you place will override the default. The same applies to each of the other columns.

Add any other widget and you'll see the default will vanish and be replaced with whatever you've added.
