Pagelines Theme going Crazy, HELP!

Hi there... Someone can help me please? I have many problem with the theme... more than 200 default box and feature slides are automatically created.. that if you delete.. appear again (not all 200 but 5) Especially the features .. you delete.. you see in the trash.. and they appear again.. Also the Box and Soap box doesn't work! ... any idea??? Send me email for credential wp.

Stefano, temporarily, de-activate all the plugins except the ones from PageLines. Then try to delete one or more of the features and boxes. Let me know if it happens again. This could be a plugin conflict.

Deactivated all.. but not pagelines... and when you try to delete the last features.. (deleting one by one) the last one appear in trash and make appear alle the feature that i just delete and erased from the trash.

When you try to delete Design Control Features.. all magically appear again.. some duble content some not..

Hi Stefano, Please create a feature slider and once you have completed this, begin deleting all the PageLines features slides and see if that works. The issues you're having have to be caused by either plugins or custom code you have added. It is not possible for PageLines to create feature slider, boxes etc.. on its own.

I think that i will delete database and reinstall all in a few hour .. and i take off WPML that is hard plugin cause work doubleing the content for made the translation of the site.. but i need to set it in a second time for sure... i don't have the time for test other plugin for transation.. or similar.. and i need to see workin everythink until sunday.. than it's hard word for me today.. and i don't have anyone that can help me directly.. let me know something faster.. cause i need the time for set the site again.. with new installation.. and is not simple.. cause luckly i don't have content but i have many plugin that i have to set.. like easy content type, wpml, accordion slide, and boxer pro.

For sure Danny... but the problem is not the problem but understand what produce it!.. Some part of css custom code... ? How? Which one? Some plugin.. ? How? Which one? I deactivated all, and i take off my css code.. and is the same? then.. some idea?

Hi Stefano, I completely agree with you. We have had this issue reported several times but unfortunately, none of our support team or even the developers were able to recreate the issue. Therefore, it has to come from a plugin. If you have disabled all plugins and the issue is still occurring then this is most likely either custom code (not CSS) you have added or a server configuration issue. Would it be possible to add any custom code (hooks, PHP etc..) to http://paste.pagelines.com Can you also provide your PHP info please - http://codex.wordpress.org/Finding_Server_Info

Now i delete all and reinstall wp and database to.. i will report immediatly if something occur focusing my self to note everything when i install step by step.. Now first i create a site in one language.. ITALIANO. And i set accordion slide plugin.. and boxer pro that i need for the estetic request of the client. After i set Easy Content Post Type.. And .. at the end WPML for multisite.. if someone have any suggest for multilanguages please give me your idea.. cause WPML is hard plugin for database though is work. And i think that is here the problem.. Immagine.. if you install a plugin that crash.. with one language.. you find probably one error in the code.. but multiplying the language (contend) problably multiply also the error in database.. immagine with 3 languages.. this made unstable the db and also the site generating errors etc. We keep in touch about this issue, and i will report everything.

I've just activated Hello Dolly, Akismet and LightBox Gallery.. Now i'm installing Pagelines Framework.. and activate Section and all..

This is the activation install sequence: - Akismet - Section Container - Simple CSS Lite - YouTube Embed - Gravity Forms > Import module - WP Boxer Pro (codecanyon) - WP Accordion Banner Rotator - Welocally Places Core - Easy Content Types - Google Doc Embedder - Google XML Sitemaps - Hello Dolly - Lightbox gallery Now i set WP Boxer Pro... And if everthing work i will set WP Accordion Banner Rotator.

Ok... WP BOXER PRO is the first plugin that return me an error tryin to delete Pagelines Default Box!

And now i can delete the box!!! Everytime i try to delete .. you see 3 box more in the trash and the same 3 that is not erased!!! Someone can help now? Cause now is just installed all new.. and this is not possible!

The plugin is deleted! But is the same .. probably isn't the plugin... but the theme!

This is a problem we've seen before created by certain plugins... For example, the "Post Type Order" plugin has some quirks that cause it. Its a conflict with the default setting mechanism that PL has to use w/ the custom post types. E.g. we check if there are any posts, if not, the framework sets defaults.

Well, isolate the plugin and then contact the provider about the problem...
