mikeeg8+ 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2012 Hi, I'm developing lots of sites using Framework, and would like to know how to rename the theme to whatever I'd like - essentially, I'd rather call the theme after the clients in most cases, so from the outside it appears that the sites we not developed using pagelines. Any way I can do this? Also, is there a way of hiding the Pagelines panel from the Dashboard, to stop people meddling with the settings? Thank you Michael
beardedavenger 158 Report post Posted July 19, 2012 Michael I was in your same shoes some time ago. It's going to cause A LOT of headaches to just rename that folder. For one, all the child themes depend on that name, as do a lot of things in the theme. Your clients not going to look, or care, if /pagelines/ is in sources codes URL. Trust me, I've been down that road. Hiding panels, that's definitely doable. There's a plugin called Admin Menu Pro, and you can use it to hide menus/tabs/and rename them.
