How do i get the carousel/highlight off my blog page?

Hi, can't find the way to remove the carousel or highlight on the blogpage. I have tried resetting everything to no avail. It stays. How can I actually reset everything to the most basic options? Many thanks, Floris

If you want remove, go to Pagelines > Drag and Drop > You can select Template Area - Blog / Blog Post / Template and Drag-Drop the carousel or any thing else you want to Available / Disabled Sections

Yes, Batman's correct. Removing elements from a page template is as easy as Drag & Drop. You can also reposition elements with Drag & Drop, so if you want something moved up or down, just drag it to the position you want.
