Post Loop showing just some kind of posts (defined by tags)

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm very new to WordPress and PageLines. I would like to know if the following is possible: I have two pages ("Recensioni" and "Anteprime") in which I have a template with PostLoop in the content part. I would like to show in the "Recensioni" page only the posts that have the "recensione" tag and in the "Anteprime" page only the posts that have the "anteprima" tag. Is this possible? Moreover, right now I posted two posts, but I cant see them anywhere in these two pages. As I said I set PostLoop in the content area and I'm sure it's not set as hidden anywhere. Any clue on what's going on? Thanks

I managed to solve the problem of the posts not showing. I set one of the two pages ("Anteprime") as Post Page in Settings -> Readings. But the first problem remains: would it be possible to set two pages as Post Pages and define a kind of "filter" for them?

Maybe it's not related to PageLines anymore, but how can I use the plugin ON the pages? I installed it and activated it. I see it in the widget page, I dragged it on the primary sidebar on the right. I did it twice since I want to use it on two different pages, but I do not understand how to tell the widget to show the posts with a specific tag in a specific page. Thanks and sorry if it's not related.

If you read the instructions on the Special Recent Posts page I provided, you'll find the guidance for writing a shortcode, with all the instructions for creating the elements of the shortcode. Place the shortcode on a page and it will display as you wish. Here's an example of how Special Recent Posts uses a custom page to pick up a category (the author name) http://www.epicurus.com/blog/about/our-people/marcia-stuart

I dragged the widget into the 'Content' area of my layout (where the word "home" reads). However, it doesn't show. What is this? How do I get around this?

Special Recent Posts requires you customize a shortcode and place that on your page where you want the posts to show. I'd suggest you visit the plugin page and read the Installation instructions which are very helpful. Note in particular the bottom of that page.
