Problem during going live

Hi there! We're trying to upload a website that we've built locally (MAMP) with PageLines. We transfered everyting to DreamHost; however, we cannot login to our Pagelines account from the dashboard. Although we can access the dashboard, when we click on "login", we get those warnings: Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'PageLinesWelcome::get_intro' was given in /home/acetin/muhendishane.net/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 170 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/acetin/muhendishane.net/wp-content/themes/pagelines/admin/class.options.ui.php on line 281 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/acetin/muhendishane.net/wp-content/themes/pagelines/admin/class.options.ui.php on line 254 ...and frankly we've no idea what those mean. Could you show us a way to fix this? An urgent response would be most appreciated! Thanks Arda

Can you describe how you transferred the WordPress install and its contents to DreamHost?

Sure: - We've done the one-click set up with DreamHost. - Then we've exported the XML file from the local machine and imported to server by Wordpress' import. - Then we've uploaded the wpcontent folder through ftp, - We've activated the plugins and that's it.

You'll also need to upload your database on your live site. For more specific details about how to move WordPress from a local site to a live site, please review the steps here: http://www.webcoursesbangkok.com/blog/2-how-to-move-wordpress-local-to-live/

Hi Catrina, Are you sure I have to do that? I really don't know much about this stuff, it's quite likely that I might be wrong but according to this post, i don't need to do that (see the reply by arpowers): http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/4802/.sql-file-location/p1 Seemingly, a similar problem was reported before and there exists a solution (stefan's comment at the end): http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/20565/warnings-on-pagelines-dashboard-please-help/p1 Our problem is that when we change the Version to 2.2.1 and force Wordpress to find the update, it works, but it says: "PageLines Framework 2.2.2 is available. Click here to setup your PageLines account." ...but we cannot login. We get the warnings that I've already mentioned. I might be wrong, but do you still think that we need to upload the database?

Dreamhost's one click setup must setup a database and you need to know how to import data to it. Without that capacity, and without data in your database, you don't have a site. Just a compilation of code, plugins and theme files without posts, pages or images. I'd suggest you look into hosting at WP Engine, which is much more WordPress specific and helpful with such issues.
