monk22 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 Hi everyone, I'm working on a client site and I've noticed some discrepancy between IE and Chrome views of the site. The main problem is that I've put a modern box design around the content area for the site and in Chrome it looks fine but in IE the bottom of the box (just above the footer) doesn't close - and this is affecting the alignment of the google maps in the Contact page. Also the tag line by the logo is in blue (as is the nav bar) in IE but it has been designed in Chrome (and looks in Chrome) as a grey and not bolded. Those are the main differences - anyone have any ideas on how to rectify it? I've clicked on the "add google compatibility script" and this hasn't changed anything. I'm at a bit of a loss. Happy to provide more info (code etc.) if necessary. Cheers Chris
Stefan 6 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 Hey Chris, Which version of IE are you using? It should work fine in later versions of IE (e.g. IE9), but it's harder to make it work in IE7 or IE8...
