mkummer82 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 Hi guys, after upgrading today to Pagelines 2.2.2 and the new iBlogPro I'm experiencing issues with the CSS of the nav menu. As you can see the currently selected/highlighted menu item is light grey. That doesn't look right. I have found the section of the CSS where the color is defined but wondered why it is defined like that. Is that supposed to be default? If not, what should be there instead? .main-nav .current-menu-ancestor a, .main-nav li.current-menu-ancestor ul a, .main-nav li.current_page_item a, .main-nav li.current-menu-item a, .main-nav li.current_page_parent a, .sf-menu li li, .sf-menu li li li { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #E7E9EC; } Thanks Michael
catrina 103 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 It should be a darker shade. Do you have any other custom CSS? Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. mkummer82 1 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 I had one for text boxes but I removed it since...so no, right now there should not be any custom CSS.
mkummer82 1 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 What's the default CSS that should be there and how I can reset whatever CSS I have to the default one?
catrina 103 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 If the default CSS was never changed, it should already be the correct CSS, but it isn't, so something is wrong there. That color is controlled by an image instead of a color, so it is the "selected mode" background image that needs adjustment. This is a reoccurring issue, though (the application of the incorrect highlight color), so I'll need to forward this to the developers. Please read the docs before posting. mkummer82 1 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 ok, please let me know how to fix the problem - even in a workaround asap. Since it really looks crappy as-is Thanks Michael
zerious 1 Report post Posted July 14, 2012 posted the same issue a week ago, developers should know about the problem. Would be great to get also a workaround to fix this thing.
mkummer82 1 Report post Posted July 18, 2012 any update on this issue? Just installed 2.2.4 but that didn't change anything...thanks!
[email protected] 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2012 Michael, same issue. Read here, what I found out about the new Framework problems. http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/20708/iblogpro5-navigation-menue-does-not-load#Item_11 New Bootstrap-Menues somehow seems to get in conflict with the glossy menues from IBP5. My workaround until developers find a solution: In Pagelines > Drag&Drop > Template Setup for the header - remove Nav Classic and use NavBar instead. Thats the NavBar from the Framework. Edit as you wish in Site Options > NavBar. Light Grey version matches nicely with the iBlogPro5-Theme. Funny - the longer I use it now, I even think I gonna love the Bootstrap-Menue over the Glossy-Applelike-Menue. You also can play with removing the NavBar from the header in Drag&Drop totally and selecting fixed Navigation Bar in Site Options instead. Thats my favorite for now and the Navigation always stays on top of my site.
mkummer82 1 Report post Posted July 24, 2012 thanks, that's what I did for now as well - but that seemed to have introduced another issue with mobile devices...
finni 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2012 Is there a fix for this yet? I installed PageLines Framework 2.2.5, but the issue with the nav bar is still there...
