Splash page image not appearing

Recommended Posts

webgirl2013

I set up a splash page and added an image to the index page. It was showing up then no more. I have been working on the custom css for the brandnav menu after I got the splash page working. Here are my settings: PL > Drag & Drop > I renamed the sample page template to splash [for me to easily recognise], I added content section to active content section > page template PL > Content template has nothing in it Admin > Settings > Reading > Front Page > Static Page > Front page > index is set Admin > All Pages > index, I uploaded the image to the index page: http://ideaswoman.com/WP-CMS/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/ikin-home.jpg'>http://ideaswoman.com/WP-CMS/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/ikin-home.jpg I have hidden brandnav and simple nav Select page layout is the first option http://ideaswoman.com/WP-CMS/ is the index page. If only I could turn back the clock to remember how I got it working in the first instance! I did try back-tracking a few steps just in case there was a conflict. I also deactivated all the plugins. PL framework version 2? I have not installed the latest version 2.2.2

Hey Carly, Seems like your URL: http://ideaswoman.com/WP-CMS/ is blanking out... what is the custom CSS you added? can you make sure it's compiling properly and without errors? Looking forward to your answer!

I removed the custom css today to see if that would fix it. I will try again now.... OK, still blank. Gayle [Ideas Woman]

I activated the framework theme instead of the base and now it shows. I have not made any alterations to the base theme. All I did was cut and paste the css of framework into the base css and that was days ago.

Looks like it was the splash page template because with the upgrade, it has disappeared from 'Which Type of Page?' section and so my splash page now uses the default template. Thank you for the help.
