Feature slider and headlines in content pages

Hi Guys, I'm very new to WP and Pagelines, so bare with me. I've watched the videos and still can't get my feature slider to work. We just upgraded to the new Framework version and everything on the Home page scattered. Also, I'm trying to set up the Feature slider, but only get a blank white box. One more issue are headlines that just started showing up on my content pages (ie; on the home page, it says Home Page) and it added it on its own. I don't know how to get rid of them.
