Getting rid of text area on feature page in White House 3

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am upgrading from WhiteHouse Pro 2.1 to WhiteHouse Pro 3, and a new area has appeared on my home page (see fig. below) Is there anyone who knows how to get rid of this text-area, (and have it as it was before)? m.png

You can use some custom css in the THEME OPTIONS > CUSTOM CODE area add: `.home #maincontent {display:none;}`

Thank you for your swift reply. Now the only problem is the sidebar. Even if I let it out the theme enters the text: "The short sidebar has been selected but doesn't have any widgets. Add some widgets to your short sidebar in the admin under appearance > widgets."

Do you not want the sidebar to appear if empty? There is an option to do this in your Sidebar Options under Theme Options. Thanks, Bryan

okay so then next to the code before: `.home #maincontent {display:none;}` make it look like this: ` .home #maincontent, .home #sidebar {display:none;} `

Thanks for the code. But which file are we talking about?

It doesn't have to be in the file. Add it to THEME OPTIONS > CUSTOM CODE > CUSTOM CSS text field

Is there a way to do this for individual posts?
