18691869 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2012 Hello I have a wordpress website based on Pagelines Framework. I have also the Buddypress plugin active in my website and I chose s2member to customize the registration page. Unfortunately I have a lot of problems since I wanted to add the paypal payment system to my site. I would like that people who want to register on my site, fills up the form and then clicking on paypal checkout button will be redirected to paypal website and after paying will be activated. How should I proceed? At the moment I configured all paypal options and generated the paypal level 1 button. I tried to put the shortcode in register page and even in a new page but I never get the paypal button appearing. At the end I decided to put the php code into register.php page of my website and I get the button. The big problem is that if I press press it after simulating a new subscription the registration pages refreshes and nothing appears. I tried also to put the php code in a sidebar of homepage and if i click the button I go to paypal website so there is something wrong on the link between buddypress reg page, pagelines and s2m? Please help me Paolo
Rob 547 Report post Posted July 9, 2012 Paolo, editing register.php will result in the changes disappearing when an update is made. S2Member should create its own registration page for BuddyPress (I did with mine) and I had no problem integrating Paypal. I'd suggest asking the folks from s2Member about this first. I don't recall anything we do that would make a button vanish or not function. Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
