raezerj 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2012 You guys just kill me with your updates. Okay. Fine. Widget problem. I'll deal with that later. But the first major issue that I encountered is that no content appears on my pages. I previously built custom page templates for all my pages. They still exist in the Pagelines Customize plugin, but have been deleted from the Template setup area. #sofrustrating

raezerj 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2012 Nope. All custom page templates have disappeared. Only the standard templates (Template 1, Template 2, etc.) remain.
Simon 248 Report post Posted July 8, 2012 Custom page templates have to go in a child theme, be it the PageLines 'base' theme or one that you make yourself.
raezerj 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2012 I appreciate that now. But really frustrating as just a few months ago, your team helpfully gave instructions on how to implement custom page templates (so I didn't have to remember if "Template 1" was associated with the Homepage or a Product page), and then this update wiped out all that work. Danny+ 1,327 Report post Posted July 9, 2012 Hi, I'm sorry to hear your custom page templates have been removed, but our documentation informs you to add any custom page templates to either your child theme or PageLines Customisations plugin. http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/How_to_Create_a_Custom_Page_Template Any custom code added to the parent theme folder will be removed (overwritten) upon updating. Please search our forums, before posting!
