Many issues after updating to 2.2.2 from 2.1.x

I had a nice site working, updated from 2.1.7 (I think) to 2.2.2 and now have a mess. 1) My sidebar widgets are set up fine in the Admin panel, but they are all stacked on the bottom of my pages. 2) My home page Feature images are cropped. 3) CSS changes added in Custom Code are not all working. - Where should I begin to resolve these issues? I have already turned off every plug-in. - Where should I have of looked to prepare for this update? I read the forum and docs and found nothing. - What else can I tell you? thanks

Hi. First, I'd recommend you see my comments in the opening part of this topic: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/20093/2.2-known-issuesfixes#Item_70 That will resolve your widget order issue. New elements of the features were included from 2.1.6 to 2.2.x. Look in Dashboard > PageLines > Page Options > Features if you want global settings or look at the features themselves to make sure the height is selected and all selections available are properly made. Is the image a background? That should be the default. To fix custom CSS, just use Firebug or Chrome Inspection tool to identify the corresponding new element and replace the old element with the new. This shouldn't be more than 30 minutes effort.

Thanks for the note, but it did not help. I have carefully moved all widgets to the section I desire, but they still show on the bottom of every page of my site. My problem is not fixed by the link you shared here. I have set my Feature defaults globally as well as at the page level. This did not fix my page. I'll look into the CSS changes after the above structural issues are resolved. More help, please! My site looked looked like this before the update:

Hi, Add this line of code to your wp-config.php file and see if this resolves your error.
define( 'PL_NO_DYNAMIC_URL', true );
Please search our forums, before posting!

@Danny thanks for that comment. It's exactly what I needed. @rangelone sorry I didn't understand your suggestion. I don't have a Windows host, so I overlooked it.
