Not able to tile images in background

Recommended Posts

sidianmsjones

Hi there, looked up all the other posts similar to this issue but... - I turned off background image supersizing. - Turned off all plugins. - Tried all three canvas types. - Am setting the tiled image via the specific page meta settings. Please inform. :P

Can you post some screenshots of the specific page settings you're using?

Of every one of those? I don't suppose we could take my word on it?

Or did you just mean this setting?

Well, we don't disbelieve you :) Try removing the colors in Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Color Control. It's possible they are overriding the image options. Take a quick visit to Dashboard > Media > Media Library and make sure the image is uploaded.

Hi Sid, Can you upgrade your site to version 2.2.2 and see if this resolves your issue.

Have you considered using custom CSS to add a background image that tiles? You can try that to see if it works: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_background-repeat.asp

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Thanks for the suggestion Catrina, but Pagelines has built in, page by page ability to add tiled patterns.

Hi Sid, I will bring this to the attention of our developers, it may well be a bug.

@sidianmsjones This is a bug. I take it you did like me and realised when you used title option and refreshed your website, the image was stretched across your screen. So you then disabled Supersize mode? If so, that is the issue, there seems to be a bug related to supersize mode being off and page backgrounds not working. The developers are aware of issue.

Yes! That's exactly what happened. So I can't really fix this for now?

Usually our developers are pretty quick about resolving known bugs. I'm sure it will be fixed very soon.
