OK fixed, either redownload, or change version in style.css to 2.2.1 and let wordpress upgrade again.

Simon's solution should work fine for the 2.2.2 upgrade in case anyone else is having this issue.

Hi guys, I applied Simon's suggestions, but they did not work. Please see screenshots below: http://s1137.photobucket.com/albums/n503/rmore1/?action=view¤t=7-8-20129-16-18AM.png http://s1137.photobucket.com/albums/n503/rmore1/?action=view¤t=7-8-20129-19-10AM.png I will reply to a support ticket as well.In the meantime while this bug in 2.2.2 is worked on, where can I download version 2.2.1 again? Unfortunately, when I download the new version, I deleted the old. Please advise. Thanks again.

@reachmore_ you did not let wordpress upgrade to 2.2.2 Change the version to 2.2.1 this will trigger the upgrader and tell you 2.2.2 is available. Let it install. You are not using the fixed version, i can guarantee you 100%.

Hi Simon, Lets try this again. After I applied your suggestions, it seems the dashboard error will NOT let the revised 2.2.1 change to 2.2.2 because the upgrader does not function with the error!!! Yes, the upgrader is telling me 2.2.2 is available, but it will not update Simon!! I guarantee it too! The error is preventing one from accessing the pagelines account and updating the install. If you try to click any links that are supposed to login one into their account, you are directed to the dashboard error page seen here: http://i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n503/rmore1/7-8-20129-19-10AM.png I hope this clarifies the issue...somewhat.

So you changing the version to 2.2.1 then trying to load the dashboard? go to wp-admin/themes.php to trigger the update. Then wp-admin/update-core.php to do the update.

I believe this error is now causing this in the Pagelines store: Unable to fetch from API
I believe this error is now causing this in the Pagelines store: Unable to fetch from API
Unrelated, thats teh error if your server cannot connect to the PageLines API server to get the latest products.

OK the reason you cant update, is you were never logged in to the account area in the first place. So now you have 2 options. 1. Download the fixed 2.2.2 zip from your members area, as I suggested yesterday. 2. Edit class.account.php, comment out the add_filter line on line 17, then login, then upgrade. Choice is yours.

My bad Simon. I was just notified of this thread this morning via email from Danny. I had downloaded version 2.2.2 prior to the fix. I presumed any revisions to 2.2.2 would be named 2.2.3 or 2.2.2a er something ...and therefore was using the "buggy" unfixed 2.2.2 version that was on my drive (because I did not see any change to the file name in the members area) the entire time. Thanks for all your help Simon. I installed the "fixed" version 2.2.2 and all is well. I apologize.

Step by step instructions for the dashboard errors: 1. If you're using PageLines Framework Professional or Developer: *Visit Wordpress -> Appearance -> Editor. *Scroll all the way to the bottom and click the file that says Stylesheet (style.css), if it is not selected already. *In the file editor screen, find the line near the top that says "Version: 2.2.2". Change the last 2 to a 1 so it reads "Version: 2.2.1". *Click the "update file button". *Visit Wordpress -> Appearance -> Themes to force Wordpress to check for a theme update. When you are notified of the 2.2.2 PageLines update, install it. Your problem should be resolved. 2. If you're using PageLines Lite (free): *A new version of PageLines Lite has been submitted to Wordpress and is awaiting review and approval. Once it has been approved, the new update will be available in your Wordpress install. *After you install the update, your problem should be resolved.

Hi, I have developer edition - have followed these steps to the letter - still nothing is working :( Bit of history: I tried to to 2.2.2 but the install failed - yet still deleted most contents of the pagelines theme folder. I deleted it via ftp (along with .maintenance in root folder so I could log into wp), re-installed, and re-tried update - successful this time. Later I noticed I couldn't get SM Icons to appear, and then that none of my header/footer changes were taking effect. After much messing around and incorrect searches I found the update to be the cause - and here I am. I've tried uninstalling, re-installing, changing the version in the css & update etc etc but can't get it working. Site: http://krav.ie - not built from ground up on pagelines it was an existing site and I installed pagelines theme after, if that matters. I'm new to pagelines and still finding my way around so hope I'm not missing something really obvious :-/ Thanks in advance :)
