muvment 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 I'd like to add this plug in. Can I replace the "features" with this? If not, how to I populate this accordion slider?
Danny+ 1,327 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 Hi, jQuery really isn't my forte however, have you thought about Slider Deck ? It comes in two packages free and premium, it also uses shortcodes as far as I know and with them shortcodes you can pretty much add the slider anywhere. http://www.slidedeck.com/ Please search our forums, before posting! muvment 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 Slidedeck doesn't have the look I want. But thanks.
Jenny 33 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 I don't know what theme you're using, but PageLines Framework has 2 different feature slider choices. If you don't like either of those, then you can always look for one you like at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ ♥ Jenny :: Web designer at Simple Mama (follow me at @simplemamacom) Check out Share Me, a social sharing add-on for DMS that is super simple to set up. muvment 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 The one I like is the Easy Accordion at: http://www.madeincima.it/en/articles/resources-and-tools/easy-accordion-plugin/ Have you seen anything similar? I like the tabbed vertical text, the SEO freindliness, and the ability to do text and a pic in each frame.
Rob 547 Report post Posted July 7, 2012 The plugins are added via Dashboard > Plugins > Add New or, if you have a zip-file, unzip it to your local machine then FTP it to wp-content/plugins and make sure you've uploaded the full folder, not the folder contents. You'll need to see something like wp-content/plugins/yournewfolder with all the folder contents inside that. As for the application of the accordion, you can apply a universal or full-width sidebar in your template, then apply the accordion in there. If it creates a widget, simply slide it into that sidebar. If not, and you must use shortcode, just paste the shortcode into a text widget in the sidebar. muvment 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2012 The Easy Accordion plug in doesn't install. How do I integrate the code into pagelines? Or create an installable plugin?
