Latest Products and New Products Widgets Not Working

Hello, using either of these widgets is giving the following error message when you click on the links provided on the webpage by the widget. "The web page at http://bestchilblainstreatment.com/products-page/chilblains-treatments/new-baby-best-chilblains-treatment/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer." I have left them on the site for now so you can look at them please help asap

Hi, Unfortunatelty, I am unable to load your site, it is timing out for me. Can you reply and provide more information please. ??? A link to these widgets, where you downloaded them from, so we can try to recreate the issue.

okay I will get back to you. The widgets came with the page lines theme I purchased and have installed. There seems to be quite some time for saving changes when made so I am not sure if pagelines is slowing my system down or wordpress or hostgator. I will get back to you once I can actually save my changes and get out:)

Hi There, I have signed out of the website admin and have left the widgets activated in the right hand column. One is two new specials the other under the shopping cart I have left so you can see that too. It also is creating problems. Could you please let me know what time frame you need as I don't want to leave them there too long otherwise customers may get confused?

You have errors in your product titles. You cannot use [b]"[/b] directly without using the HTML equivalents. It looks like you also have an empty space at the end of each title. Check out this screenshots with the errors: http://screencast.com/t/aZQEDlgIqr You need to edit the product titles and remove the [b]"[/b]. You can replace them with HTML equivalents using this link and using the "HTML name" in place of the [b]"[/b]: http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm

I tried your suggestion and am still here - Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects. Cleared my history etc but still no banana

I tried it in internet explorer and it gives this message? 404! Sorry, This Page Does not exist. Go home or try a search? The Product Page with products you can navigate to on the bottom menu of the website if that helps

Very weird. I haven't seen anything like that before. Since Jigoshop is a third party plugin, you will need to contact Jigoshop directly for support. Their website is http://jigoshop.com/. Our Jigoshop integration just changes the styling to match the rest of your PageLines site; it doesn't change the behavior of Jigoshop at all. :)

Thanks - I noticed that when it is searching in the search bar is includes the category and then products.http://bestchilblainstreatment.com/products-page/best-chilblains-treatments/new-baby-best-chilblains-treatment/ (best-chilblains-treatments) this is the url friendly for the category where the products are. If I click on this I also get nothing http://bestchilblainstreatment.com/products-page/best-chilblains-treatments/ is a search that comes up when I click on the category link highlighted on the products page - is this where the problem may lay. I am new to this and cant find a category page to activate like you can for the products any ideas

Hi Nikjlir, PageLines does not come with any widgets, the widgets you're referring to are part of JigoShop. One of our developers tested the widgets with a fresh installation of PageLines and they work fine, which you can see here. http://demo.pagelines.com/tststst/shop/ Therefore, if you're receiving an issue such as redirects ect..., this is most likely caused by either an error in your htaccess file or plug-in. Therefore, please disable all non-PageLines plug-ins and JigoShop and see if this resolves your issue please. If this doesn't resolve the problem, reply so we can take another look.

For the time being I got rid of my category as I couldn't have people clicking on the highlighted category link in the product description and go nowhere link. So I now have products not attached to any category. I also now have another problem in that the product title is not behaving. It now appears really large on the product page - has some sort of link that goes nowhere too. I am unable to change anything here or remove the hyperlink - could someone have a look at http://bestchilblainstreatment.com/products-page/ and let me know what is going on. Also I sent communication to Jigo Shop as suggested earlier and have received no help to date. I am a little confused about Jigo Shop as I have only installed Pagelines and Wp Ecommerce, after that the widgets were as they were and only appeared after these two installs. So I am a little confused as to how to understand where this widgets come from and why it is not all workin. Can I get someone to sign into my website and have a look at what is going on please?
