missing image files (bug in template?)

this seems like a bug. When I browse my site with FireBug it shows me HTTP 404 errors on every menu pertaining to image files even though the images are loading. These are the images that are a part of the theme itself (nav-black.png for example). Take this menu item for example: "About-CMG". That pages loads fine, but firebug reports http 404 on: http://citizenmediagroup.com/about-page/about-cmg/images/nav-black.png http://citizenmediagroup.com/about-page/about-cmg/images/black40.png http://citizenmediagroup.com/about-page/about-cmg/images/black50.png This is happening on every page on my site, slowing down the load times a bit while the site looks in the wrong place for the image file... yet the site renders all images fine, nothing is missing!!

because watching the page load times in Firebug it takes an extra half-second or so for the page loads to finish. I'm not sure why it is looking in non-existent directories for those files, yet they are in fact loading properly.... is this just a glitch that can be ingored?

Why are you under the impression they are looking in "non-existent" directories? It is working as it should.

When you run firebug it shows you 404 errors on directories that dont exist. I guess it is just a bug... no worries.

Hmm, I haven't used FireBug extensively, but I don't imagine it's perfect. FireBug itself I'm sure is capable of reading something wrong and maybe throwing false errors, even the W3C Validator isn't perfect. Also, maybe running FireBug on it is the reason it's loading slower. As long as on the front-end everything is working okay, I suppose that's what's important. Thanks, Bryan
