center excerpt thumb image

Recommended Posts

I am using the latest pagelines framework and busy styling css. One problem i couldn't find so far. How to center the image used as featured image on the excerpt from the blog? I use full images on top. See http://edugram.nl/blog-edugram/ Thanks, Evert

Hi Evert, Try adding this:
.post-meta .c_img, .hentry .c_img { float: none; }
You will most likely need to increase the size of your image I think.

Danny thanks. That's partly working, because now i have a image centered but the div space filled with white background. Is there a way to center the image without the white space around? Your solution is now only functional if i use images from say 650 px width. Another solution would be most welcome. Cheers.

Try:
.post-meta .c_img, .hentry .c_img { display: block; line-height: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; max-width: 98%; padding: 4px; }
The max width is setting an auto margin (with background color) but the auto margins are centering the image. I'd suggest playing with this code a bit to find your best solution.

Rangelone Thanx. Nothing happens. I will play around. Maybe there's some old css interfering from the platform pro area. Cheers, Evert
