(custom menu) Exclude certain links only on certain pages?

I am using custom menus, and I have links that I would like to exclude, but only on certain pages. So, for example, I have a menu called "White Papers". I have 10 links all together on that menu, but not all links will go on every page that menu appears on. Do I do an exclude via "custom fields" on these pages? If so, how would I code this? Thanks!

Is it too cumbersome to create a new menu with the excluded links?

No I would definitely do that, but aren't there a limited amount of different sidebars I can use?

Have you looked around for a plugin that will give you finer control over this? I'm not sure, but I'm guessing this is more of a WP question.. as it controls the content of the new menus (via the menus option)_

I have looked, they all seem to center around pages, and I am using custom menu links...also, in my default Template page, the sidebar options are "default", "secondary" and "short". Is there a way to add more sidebars?

Not without custom coding... most people can get the multi-sidebar functionality they want with the 'widget logic' plugin

Thanks for all your advice. I actually found a plugin "simple sidebar navigation" that should do the trick...allows menu creation using pages & links with individual include/exclude parameters... Again, I appreciate the great and timely help you guys give!
