Morefoot section and Twitter profile widget issue

Recommended Posts

Jean-Philippe

Hello PageLines Team, As we ( @wendygordon @joshkent and me) mentionned in this post (April 2012 but first post was edited on December 2011), there was an issue with morefoot section and Twitter profile widget (when pasting this kind of code in a text widget). I was thinking this issue will be resolved with PageLines 2.2 framework, but it's not. Do you plan a fix soon? Is there any solution to add Twitter profile feed in morefoot section? Thank you for your help.

I went through the code generator and created my own, added this to a text widget in my Footer Column Sidebar:

And everything worked out fine. http://screencast.com/t/oePvqgcoZm That is in my footer section in the Drag & Drop menu option. I also tested it in the morefoot section as well.

Thank you for your answer @hperkins Well, I have 3 PageLines 2.2 framework installations (with different configurations) and I have 3 times the same issue. For me, this issue only appears with morefoot section (footer section and others sections work fine). Here's the issue I get: http://www.jeanphilippemarchand.com (on this domain name, PageLines Customize is the only plugin activated and I've just installed PageLines 2.2.1). You can briefly see the homepage before it disappears!

@catrina : yes, his name is OVH (French). It would be great to now if @wendygordon and @joshkent still have the bug too. According to @kastelic (December 2011): "I was able to reproduce the problem and it appears that the code uses the same name for a variable as Pagelines does, causing a conflict."

That was awhile back. I can add this to a weekly report so that it can be looked at.
