Nav Issues w/ Pro2.2

Recommended Posts

Whoa! I should have backed up before I upgraded to 2.2, but I think I've worked most of the kinks out. ;-) (...grrr, just when I was getting use to the other version. lol) I like the new fixed navigation bar, but how can I position the text more to the left and increase the font size?

everything should be about the same... would love to know about your issues if you have em. Custom CSS sounds like the thing to use. Are you using Chrome Developer tools and inspect? Would need a screenshot to help ya further.

...just take a look at the top of my page: http://www.soccercleatsplus.com (I want to move the navigation to the left a little more and make the font bigger. Plus, I wouldn't mind figuring out how to reduce the amount of white space between the header image and the navigation.)

I believed that menu position is coming from compiled-css which is currently being reviewed for updating. I'm not sure that applying a solution now manually would be wise. I think that's expected to be resolved tomorrow. Between the image and the menu you have the social media icons. Do you want to wipe out the space in which they reside? A screenshot of your goals would indeed help, as arpowers suggests.

the whitespace issue isnt really an issue. i like my social icons up there. it was more of a question about how to customize this area. i really want to increase the font size of the navigation bar and remove the image so the text aligns all the way to the left. any updates on compiled-css review? oh...and i looked at my site with ie8 (...i typically use firefox) and that navigation bar was useless. all the text was missing!?!

Regarding IE8: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/17308/older-browsers-support#Item_3 To change the nav styling, you will need to add a couple CSS elements to make this work (like font size, etc). Keep in mind we can't design your site for you so if you need CSS help, make sure you've downloaded Firebug for Firefox and check out W3 Schools for more info.
